Set

This is another useful condition for checking to see whether or not a variable has been set.

Suppose for example you wanted to know if a member has entered their country on their user profile. You could do this:

[if ! set {~country}]Please enter your country![if]

Let's say you have a page which is expecting some GET variable to be passed to it from the referring form and you want to verify that value is set. This function will send them to an error page if something is wrong.

[if ! set {?var}]<(forward error.page)>[if]

Suppose you wanted a list of all the test pages without a description data variable assigned to it. You could use this search

[(search group=test* if='! set {+:description}')]
