This function requires two parameters and checks to see if the second term is less than the first. If numbers, it will check the mathematical value, if letters, it will check it alphabetically.
The first two pass, the second two fail.

If the second term matches the first one, it will return false. To create less than or equal use the negative of more. Consider the following:

For comparison purposes, numbers are considered lower than letters. So the first condition passes below, but the second one fails
