Action

The function tells whether or not a specific action is being called. In most cases you can simply construct the action page as desired, but there may be situations where you want to do something on a page by triggering a custom action. For example, suppose you wanted to insert an update form on a page when a user click a link. You could use code like the following:

Update
[if action myupdate]<(include form.update)>[if]

When the click the link the entire page reloads, but now the url has the action parameter which triggers the conditional and causes the update form to be inserted.
