Link Shortcuts
Documentation > Concepts > Link Shortcuts
Use this page to practice with BoltWire's page shortcuts, to see how they works. They are used extensively in nearly every function, command and link feature involving page names. Symbols to tinker with include:
| Shortcut | Output |
|---|---|
| ~ | login |
| ^ | id |
| @ | group |
| + | timestamp |
| ! | action |
| = | child |
| # | thread |
| . | {p1}. |
| .. | {p1}.{p2}. |
The dot shortcuts only work at the beginning of a page. Threads only works at the end.
Also, you can normally include page, data, text, and get variables in a form field as well, though they may not work properly on this form as they are processed in a slightly unusual order to make the display work properly.
Don't be afraid to try something interesting like: ~@.^. BoltWire's page shortcuts are pretty flexible.
TRY THE CODE:
[form] Input: Output: [[#.luminofer|luminofer]], 03.17.11 [session outpage "{=in}"] [session savedata in,outpage] [form]
